The Lake is about 61 miles north of Santa Fe. Take Highway 84 and turn left on Highway 96. The Abiquiu Dam is on the left side of the road, while the campground, visitor center and boat ramp are on the right hand side of the road.

Aguirre Springs

Bottomless Lakes State Park

From Roswell, head east on US 380. Turn right at Bottomless Lake Road or Co Rd 409, take right at Park Service Road, and stay on Park Service Road until reach Lea Lake Campground entrance at the right.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park

One can either take US 62/180 from Carlsbad, NM or from El Paso. At the Cavern sign, take Walnut Canyon drive, a seven-mile scenic drive, to reach the parking lot and the visitors' center.

5 miles from Glenwood, NM, at the end of the NM Highway 174 (Catwalk Road).

Chaco Culture National Historical Park

Follow US 550 and exit at CR7900. Follow CR7900 all the way to CR7950 to reach the Chaco Canyon visitor center. Visitor be warned, the CR7950 is an over 13 miles of unpaved dirt road with washboard surface. Car shook violently as you drive through it. The 13 miles can turned into more than a hour drive.

Follow Univeristy heading towards to mountain. Continue to a junction with Baylor Canyon Road on the left and Dripping Spring Road on the right. Take the Dripping Spring Road all the way to the parking lot for the visitor center.

Echo Ampitheater

Follow US highway 84, 17 miles NW of city of Abiquiu, and about 4 mile north of Ghost Ranch. The Ampitheater is on the bottom of the red sandstone cliff.

El Vado Lake State Park

Take I-25 towards Santa Fe. Take US-285 N/US-84 N exit 282 to Santa Fe Plaza. Follow St. Francis Drive all the way through Santa Fe and it will eventually turn into US-285 N/US-84 N. Continue about 60 miles until you reach the town of Tierra Amarilla. Take NM 112. It will take you all the way down to El Vado Lake State Park.

Faywood is reopen to the public. Faywood Hot Springs is located in southwestern New Mexico, on Highway 61, halfway between Silver City and Deming, next to the City of Rocks State Park, about 2 miles from the intersection of Highways 180 and 61.

Kilbourne Hole

Take I-10 and take Vado Exit. Follow NM 227 west for 3 miles, after Vado Elementary School, turn left on Holguin. The road curves right and crosses the railroad. After passing an intersection, it becomes NM 189. Take a left on NM 28 South. About two miles later turn right to Afton Road or Dona Ana County Road (CR) B008 west. Go about 11 miles, passing the El Paso Natural Gas Afton Station. The road will turn into a dirt road. There will be a farm on the right, turn left here to Dona Ana CR B004 south for 6 and half miles. At the railroad crossing, turn left and follow the road to cross the railroad track. Turn east (left) on CR A017 and follow it for 7 miles. Turn right to CR A011 and proceed 8 miles to Kilbourne Hole. Kilbourne Hole should appear on the right like a giant sand dune. A013 circles around the foot of Kilbourne’s Hole.

From Silver City, follow NM 90 all the way until it forked. One direction is to Gila Cliff Dwellings, the other is to Lake Roberts. Take NM 35 and the lake is on the right hand side.

Riberbend Hot Sping

From I-25, take the Exit 75 toward Truth or Consequences, follow the main street into Broadway, then to Riverside Dr. At Austin Ave, turn right, go all the way til the end of road. Riverbend Hot Spring is on the right side of the road.

The main entrance is rather hard to see. It is hidding behind a school tennis court. Once the visitor look pass the tennis court, one can arrive there easily.

Once in Albuquerque, follow I-25 to the other side of the city. Take Exit 234 Tramway Road. Follow the Tramway arrive at the Sandia Peak Tramway parking lot.

Timberon

Take US-70E toward Alamgordo. Once arrived Alamgordo, take tje US-82 toward the mountain. Drive about 16 miles, then take right at NM-6563 toward Timberon. Drive about 13 miles then turn left at CR-C0001/Sacramento River Rod. The road will take you all the way down to Timberon.

UFO Museum at Roswell

Follow US-380 into the city of Roswell, then turn right at N Main Street. The UFO Museum is located on the right side of the street. The visitor can park either along the curve or in the parking lot around the corner.

From Highway 70, take the White Sands Missile Range exit (between markers 169 and 170). Follow the Owen Road to the entrance of White Sands Missile Range. Visitors don't have military decals on their cars must stop here to sign in. Once inside of WSMR, the Museum is located at the left side of the main gate.
