Taste of India
1001 E University Ave
Customers can either order the buffet or enjoy the menu selection. The lunch buffet was reasonably priced with a variety selections. This is what I would recommend for a first-timer. With the buffet, the diner can select the type of
, either regular or garlic, to be baked fresh. This is one of the few restaurants in town that could provide a full service meal for a true vegetarian.
The light Indian rice is a little different from the Jasmine rice I usually have; it goes very well with all the traditional Indian dishes here. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the names of anything, so I can't really discuss them much. The wife really likes the little breaded meat or vegetarian "dumplings" (I can't think of a better word), and ordered some to go.
This is a nice little restaurant on University was an interesting clientele. They serve beer and wine.
